The top 100 restaurants in the UK in 2026: full list of 56 award-winning places to eat in London

Here at Time Out, we’re well aware of the quality of London’s food scene. From gorge-worthy gastropub grub to late-night noodles, you can satiate pretty much any hankering at one of the capital’s eateries. Which is why, each year, we taste our way around the capital to whittle down our own ranking of the very best vittles this fair city has to offer. Check out which foodie spots made Time Out’s list of the best restaurants in London you should be booking here.

But we’re not the only ones out to celebrate the Big Smoke’s culinary prowess. Each year, the National Restaurant Awards unveils its list of the 100 best restaurants up and down the country, as voted for by some of the UK’s leading chefs, restaurateurs and food writers.

You probably won’t be shocked to learn that a considerable chunk of the winners are in the capital. In fact, more than half of the list – and of the top 10 – reside inside the M25.

A total of 56 London restos made the list, including this year’s champion. The top prize went to Clerkenwell’s Bouchon Racine, the brainchild of London food don Henry Harris. Check out what we think of the French bistro here.

Plenty of other Time Out faves made the list, including Borough Market’s Camille, which we named the city’s best restaurant in 2026 and ranked 20th on the National Restaurant Awards’s list.
