Things are about to get tropical daan saaf, because Costa Del Croydon is returning this August.
The urban playa, which debuted on the rooftop of the Centrale and Whitgift Centre’s multi-storey car park in 2024, brings a slice of the seaside to the Big Smoke every August, and this year is no exception. Running from August 7, it’ll be welcoming bucket-and-spade-laden Londoners until the end of the month, with two bookable sessions each day.
Expect splash zones, mini go-karts and trampolines to keep the kids entertained, plus a chill-out area for those looking to relax. A roster of activities, including dance workshops and games of giant chess, will be running throughout the month, and classic pier-side games like hook-a-duck will help immerse you in the coastal holiday feels.

Plus, brand new this year will be a ‘Beach Club’ series of after-hours events only for adults. Yup, on Thursday evenings Costa Del Croydon will be saying bye bye to the bubbas and hello to a combo of food, music, DJs and live entertainment. Killer views of the golden hour skyline with the sand between our toes and no screaming kids about? Don’t mind if we do.
Each week will feature a different theme, from garage DJ nights to drag-hosted lip sync battles, sip & paint sessions and music bingo.

Entry to the rooftop beach is free and there’ll be space for daily walk-ins, but we’d recommend booking tickets here to secure your space. Pre-bookings via the building’s website will be available from July 31.
Costa Del Croydon will run from August 7-31.
