The Pride in London parade is taking place this Saturday July 4. Central London will be awash with rainbow flags and glitter as thousands gather for the annual celebration of the LGBTQ community.
Time Out has you covered on the lowdown for all the celebrations, from the ultimate guide to parties happening across the capital to the full London Pride parade route. And, while this is all very exciting, it’s also our job to answer more practical questions, such as which roads will be closed for the London Pride parade.
More than 1.5 million people are expected to descend on central London for the celebrations. This means dozens of roads will be closed as the vibrant parade snakes its way through the streets, running from Green Park to Whitehall.
Planning on driving to central for the celebrations this Saturday? Or accidentally passing through? Then you’ll need our full list of road closures ahead of Pride in London 2026.

You can view the full London Pride 2026 road closure map here.
The main areas affected by road closures are Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly, Haymarket, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall. If you’re planning on driving that day, it’s best to avoid central London where possible.
If you do have to hit the roads, Pride organisers recommend checking the interactive map before you set off to work out the best drop-off points outside the restricted zones.
Which London train and tube stations are closed for the 2026 Pride parade?
It’s set to be a weekend of travel disruption for Londoners, with the Hammersmith & City and District lines and the DLR all set to be impacted by closures. Check out our full guide to TfL weekend closures and travel disruption.
The good news is that the majority of TFL’s services are still running (and as Londoners, we’re pretty good at surviving travel chaos). Services are expected to be particularly busy, though.
Are London buses running during the 2026 pride parade?
Yes, most buses will be running as normal. However, TfL advises that some bus routes in Central London will be on diversion or stopping short of their usual destination due to road closures.
How do I get to the London Pride parade 2026?
If you are attending the start of the London Pride parade, organisers say it’s best to use Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch stations. If you don’t want to miss any of the action, we’d recommend getting down early as queues are expected at several stations and bus stops, especially around Soho and Trafalgar Square.
If you’re aiming to catch the middle of the parade, the best stations are Green Park and Piccadilly Circus. To head to Trafalgar Square for the end of the parade and the Main Stage, the closest Tube stations are Charing Cross and Embankment.
TFL has advised that some stations might become exit-only if things get particularly busy.
