This weekend, London will be awash with blue and pink as Trans Pride marches through the city centre. More than 100,000 trans people and allies are expected to march through the capital’s streets.
The roots of the London Trans Pride march go back to 2019. Inspired by Trans Pride Brighton, it began as a grassroots alternative to London’s other Pride marches. Last year, the event became the biggest trans pride march in the world to date.
The 2026 march has been described by the event’s organisers as the ‘most politically urgent year in the march’s history’ following a backdrop of significant legal changes affecting trans people in the UK, including the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of ‘biological sex’. This year’s theme is ‘Our Future, Our Fight’.
Like previous years, the Trans Pride 2026 march will be an important and heartening display of queer solidarity. If you’re joining this year’s march, here’s everything you need to know, from the start time to the route.
Where does the London Trans Pride 2026 march start and finish?
The march starts at Langham Place at 1pm on Saturday July 25. You’ll find Langham Place on the main road near the BBC building and All Souls Church.
The march will get moving at 2pm. It will travel south down Regent’s Street to Haymarket, before snaking down Pall Mall East. From there, it’ll continue down Cockspur Street, before reaching the end point at Trafalgar Square. The march is expected to finish at around 3.30pm, and there will be one scheduled stop of 10 minutes near Swallow Street. This is the first time the Trans Pride march has finished at Trafalgar Square, with organisers describing it as a milestone for the event.
London Trans Pride founding member Lewis G Burton said: ‘100k trans people and our allies will be descending on one of the most recognisable landmarks in the UK, and taking up that space audaciously.’
Speeches are expected to take place at Trafalgar Square between 4pm and 5.30pm.

Who is speaking at London Trans Pride 2026?
An official line up hasn’t been published for Trans Pride yet. However, we do know that speeches are expected to take place at Trafalgar Square between 4pm and 5.30pm.
Last year, the crowd heard powerful speeches from actress Yasmin Finney, known for Heartstopper and Doctor Who, and campaigner Caroline Litman, whose trans daughter Alice took her own life in 2022.
For 2026, Trans Pride has received messages of solidarity from the likes of Paul Mescal, Mel B, Zoë Garbett, Michaela Coel, Jessie Ware, Jameela Jamil, Munroe Bergdorf, Jeremy Corbyn and Yasmin Finney, amongst others.
Is London Trans Pride free to attend?
Yes, as a public pride march and protest, London Trans Pride has always been free to attend. You don’t need to pre-book any tickets, and you can join for as much or as little of the event as you want.
