London is always getting new day festivals. We say, it’s time to bring back some of the old ones that were cancelled! You know we love a bit of nostalgia. And it seems like our prayers have been answered, because after a near 10-year hiatus, the legendary Red Bull Culture Clash is making a grand return to London in 2025.
The Red Bull Culture Clash will return to the Big Smoke on March 8 2025, taking place at Drumsheds. For those who don’t know, Red Bull Culture Clash is an epic music battle, inspired by Jamaican sound clash culture. At a typical sound clash, two or more crews or soundsystems will battle it out to be named the best sound. Winners are judged on the crowd’s reaction, and dubplates – exclusive re-recorded versions of already popular songs – are essential.
At the march event, four crews armed with their finest dubplates will compete across four stages repping the best of the electronic, UK rap, Afro, and Caribbean music scenes. At the end of the event, one crew will take home the Red Bull Culture Clash trophy.
In the past, crews at Culture Clash have included Boy Better Know, A$AP Mob, Popcaan & Spice with Mixpak, Chase & Status with Rebel Sound, as well as special guests like J Hus, Stormzy, and Ice Kid, and dubplates from Drake and Damian Marley. So we’re pretty certain that there are going to be some big names, and potential huge future stars, on the 2025 lineup.

This isn’t one to miss. Ticket sales haven’t been announced yet, but we’ll update you when we know more.
